Jessica Mathias is Mrs. Mississippi America 2024! She was raised in Terry, MS, but has made Oxford her home together with her husband Bryan since their marriage in 2010. They are parents to two fun and exhausting young boys, Charles and Andrew. They are a self-described “active family” and enjoy being together outside, inside the gym, or traveling all over the state to Mississippi’s hidden spots.

She is a three-time graduate of The University of Mississippi and holds degrees in Mathematics and Curriculum and Instruction. While she taught for over a decade, she is now a proud homemaker and stay-at-home mom.

She has three objectives she wishes to focus her year around as Mrs. Mississippi America. First and foremost is her dedication to the goals of the American Cancer Society in which she will work to improve the lives of people with cancer and provide support for their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. She is passionate about ensuring everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer. Secondly, she hopes her relatable personality and down- to-earth nature inspires other wives and moms to revisit their past dreams and reeducate themselves to achieving it, whatever it may be. It’s never too late! Lastly, she sincerely hopes to increase interest and participation in the Mrs. Mississippi America system. She knows there are future contestants out there that don’t even realize the opportunity awaiting them exists, and she plans to involve as many of Mississippi’s amazing women as possible in the year to come!
